Join us for the 2026 Annual Congregational Retreat, September 25-26
Last year at this time, we were focused on the transition we were about to make to our new location. This year, we are all settled into the new space and looking forward to a bright future ahead. Join us at this year's Annual Congregational Retreat as we celebrate all that we've accomplished together and as we look toward the exciting days ahead.
The retreat schedule is:
Friday, September 25
5:30 p.m. Welcome and Refreshments
7:00 p.m. Guest Speaker: Rev. Dr. James D. Ross II, Executive Director of the University of Vermont Interfaith Center
Come hear Dr. Ross share how the Interfaith Center at the University of Vermont aims to help understand the practices and traditions different from our own. The Center seeks to be at the forefront of the conversation around global events by inviting expert voices to share knowledge and lived experiences.
Saturday, September 26
9:00 a.m. Welcome and Refreshments
9:30 a.m. Morning Peace with Pastor Don
Join Pastor Don for a morning reflection and spiritual practices to begin our day together in peace and love.
10:30 a.m. Break
10:45 a.m. Linda Howe, Winooski Food Bank
In June our congregation voted to support the Winooski Food Bank this fiscal year. We will dedicate one of our Sunday plate offerings to the Food Bank and highlight ways our congregation can volunteer with the organization. Come hear from Linda Howe about the Winooski Food Bank and how we can be involved!
12:00 p.m. Annual Volunteer Recognition Luncheon
Volunteer Coordinator Martha Rushford will recognize the many volunteers who supported All Souls ministries over the past year. The Transformational Leadership Award will be presented to a volunteer with exemplary service to All Souls. All volunteers will receive a special gift. Please select your ticket NO LATER THAN END OF DAY SUNDAY (9/20/2026) according to your meal choice for the luncheon.
1:30 p.m. Congregational Games
Congregational teams will engage in good-natured competition in fun games. You'll laugh, be amazed, and grow closer to other congregants as we play games together.
2:30 p.m. Break
2:45 p.m. Closing Ceremony
We will join together to close the retreat with a time of sharing, ritual, and a blessing for the year to come.
