Living through the 5 Elements

Workshop led by Kendra Ward
Pilot workshop Tuesday, Oct. 12 | 6:30pm - 8:00pm

Workshop: $30

The Five Elements are the soul of Eastern medicine and express the fundamental unfolding of everything in the universe. These old, primordial powers shape our body’s health and internal ecosystem, and act as a doorway through which we can come to remember that we are an embodiment of nature’s cycles.

Nutritive and connective, this class is for anyone feeling lonely or longing to discover a deeper intimacy with the living world. Elemental medicine helps us move through both the seasons and larger phases of our lives with more resilience and equanimity.

As we become the quiets seeds of autumn, we will explore:
-The spirit question of this time of year
-What our animal bodies know about this phase
-Plant or animal allies that might be helpful at this time (including key flower essences and essential oils)
-Acupressure points for continued home use, especially around the themes of immune system health, breathing, and grief.
