A fun and creative class that celebrates the joy of herbs in your garden!

Please join community herbalist, Ilana Sobo, for a class on natural remedies for stress and anxiety. This information-rich session is for anyone interested in finding holistic tools to help manage daily stressors and feels that can exacerbate anxiety. We will discuss nervous system tonic herbs, flower essences, as well as aromatherapeutic plants that help to soothe and relax us. This class will also touch on tools that support restful sleep and help increase energy and vitality overall. We will close the class with a demonstration of a simple breathing technique for helping quickly calm and relax the central nervous system.

Ilana is a community herbalist, Ayurvedic Practitioner and Yoga Instructor in South Burlington, Vermont. She has spent over 20 years in the fields of Ayurveda,Yoga and Herbalism and has worked with several pioneers in Botanical Medicine & Ayurveda in the US. She also has unique apothecary training and regularly compounds tinctures, salves, essential oil blends, teas and flower essences for her local community. Ilana's time at the Ayurvedic Institute working & studying with Dr. Vasant Lad was greatly formative. Ayurveda is the thread of continuity in all her work. Ilana has a clinical practice in South Burlington, VT and Norwalk, CT and regularly teaches classes on Ayurveda, Yoga, Aromatherapy and Herbalism throughout the Northeast. Her greatest passion is to share the love, magic, and healing gifts the natural world brings forth to share with us all. Ilana is also an avid nature photographer and flower power believer. Growing unique wildflowers and seeing pollinators thrive is her soul's bliss. She is mama to an amazing 11 year acrobat and loves Love, Vermont, Figs, Music, Seeds, Flowers, Peace, Permaculture, Plants and Dark Chocolate.
