Next Joyful Connections Outing Event -

Saturday, March 2nd – 7:30pm Essex Players “Long Live Love”

Please join us for our next Joyful Connections Outing Event on Saturday, March 2nd at 7:30 p.m.. We will be going to see the Essex Players production of “Long Live Love”. This comedy is about the final rehearsal of a play during which the script is rewritten several times causing the actors to scramble to piece the play together before the curtain rises.

You will need to purchase your own ticket which you can do at It is a small theater with limited seating, so please buy your ticket as soon as possible if you plan to join us. The tickets are non-refundable and cost $16 for seniors 60+ and $18 for adults. Some of us have chosen Row A Center Section if you’d like to try to sit near one another.

Several of us are planning to meet at Jules on the Green in Essex at 5:30pm for a bite to eat before the play. The restaurant offers gluten free options.

The Essex Players theater is located at Memorial Hall, 5 Towers Road, Essex Junction, VT. Parking can be limited so you should plan to arrive by 7pm at the theater. There is also parking across the street from Memorial Hall.

Jules on the Green is located at 1 Commonwealth Ave, Essex Junction which is on the way to the theater if you are coming from the Shelburne area.

Please let Karen Costello know at if you plan to attend the theater production so we know to look out for you. Also, let Karen know if you plan to join the group at the restaurant before the play so we can reserve the appropriate number of seats.

Since the theater is about ½ hour drive from Shelburne we can also consider carpooling. Please let Karen know if you would be interested in carpooling and we’ll try to accommodate if we can.
