Let's explore and honor sacred death together so we can live more meaningful lives...

Would you like to explore the theme of how dying can teach you how to live? We will gather on Sunday, October 26 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary at Meach Cove to deepen our understanding of ourselves through meditation, exploration, sharing, learning, and honoring death with a community altar and closing ritual.

Please bring: An item or a picture (framed or unframed) for a community altar that honors your connection to death, a cash donation if you didn't register online, anything else that makes you feel at home. Please arrive about 10- 15 min early to root into the space before we begin.

May this be a prayer to all that continues to change and transition in our world to do so in sacred surrender. Please register by October 22nd if able, so we can keep you posted on any changes. You are able to show up day of, but best to register prior so we have enough space. Also contact kglynn@allsoulsinterfaith.org for any questions .

About the Retreat Facilitators

Rev. Kim Marie Glynn is an interfaith minister who has worked with end of life care and hospice settings and volunteering for over 20 years and believes death is a teacher on the spiritual path. She is interested in how many ways one can "be" with the death process and finds exploring it a rich topic for living.

Geri Amori, who practices in the Buddhist tradition, is a trained death doula and is on the board of the Vermont Ethics Network as well as a patient advisor for UVMMC. In her own words, "I think about death and its relevance to life a lot!" She is a student of the All Souls School of Spiritual Direction. Click here for more information.
