Discoveries in the Dark

“Darkness” evokes a variety of memories and meanings. As we travel deeper into the cycle of diminishing daylight, many people draw on inner resources for the months ahead.

In this workshop, we’ll intentionally explore “the dark”. Through a blend of insight and interaction, you’ll be invited to tune into your interiors-and into one another. Though each of us has a unique spiritual journey, connections with others often provide wisdom we would not come to on our own. In this sacred space, we’ll discover possibilities together that we can bring to our everyday lives.

Join us Sunday, December 7th from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm in the Meach Cove Sanctuary. Suggested donation of $20-$50; however, no one will be refused due to lack of payment.

About the Facilitators:

Heidi and Kim Marie met in 2019 at All Souls in a workshop called “Sensing the Sacred” with Grandfather Lench Archuletta of WindSpirit Teachings and headed to the desert together. Ever since they have shared their visions of leading together with heart and soul seeing from the inside out.

Heidi Swevens

When Heidi was in her early 20’s she experienced retinal detachments that led to total blindness for a brief time. This visceral experience of darkness-literally and symbolically-reshaped her life direction. Uncertainty and fluctuations in literal vision have continued paradoxically strengthening faith in what cannot be seen with the eyes. Heidi’s 30 years of working with people of all ages in human services and the arts compliment her spiritual journey, a journey in which the illusion of independence has become clear as we travel to conscious interdependence. Rev Kim Marie Glynn

Kim Marie's spiritual path includes working with the powers of perception and diving into inner states and senses. She believes as consciousness continues to expand, and we explore the unconscious we also will gain higher forms of seeing and hearing from the inside out. Exploring the senses is a sacred practice she enjoys personally and collectively to learn, unlearn, heal and holy harmonize as one.
